New, never worn, but without tags. CR Johnson signature ski/snowboard jacket, men's medium. Excellent, top of the line jacket retailed in 2007 for $350, and sold out that same year. Size medium, but more of a snowboard cut, so a bit larger than your typical medium. Bought this a few years ago, tried it on in my house, and it has been hanging in my closet ever since. Never seen the snow - awesome jacket, just a little to big and heavy for me as I overheat easy! Asking $180 shipped in US from Nothern Ca. Thanks.

Got these in a trade before I got my other Canopies from backcountry. I thought the Emerald Iridium lens would be somewhat lighter than the dark grey but turns out its not so these need to go. They are brand new but the bag Oakley bag I got in the trade is not, it's a little dirty, not that it matters. Not sure why but the frame is different than my backcountry ones, the Oakley is raised off the surface rather than printed on the frame itself.

It's fall, I need to clear out some shed space, and you need a new set of boards! I've got 3 pairs that I'd like to find homes for. No pics online, but PM me w/ an e-mail address and I'll send you some.

1 - 4FRNT MSP, 187, 128-96-117. These have less than 5 days on them. I picked them up towards the end of last season and took them on a trip to Whistler in March, where I skied them either 4 or 5 days, during the few days that we didn't get snow overnight. These are in great condition, no core shots, no real edge hits either. I think they are just a bit more park/jib oriented than I personally am looking for. They have been mounted once with Dukes (size S, not included), but that mount is several cm's behind the recommended mount line, which was my first clue that these might not have been what I wanted. $200 shipped.

2 - Blizzard Titan Argos, 180, 135-105-119. Flat camber, slight early-rise tip. These have something like 30 days on them over the past 2 seasons. Again, no core shots, no significant damage anywhere. These have the IQ slider system, and I had them mounted with Dukes (yes, it can be done) to make the heaviest touring rig evah. For where and what I end up skiing, this is just more ski than I want. If you are skiing huge lines at high speed, these things rule. If you are in tight trees, eh, not so much. I wish I could say I was doing mostly big lines at high speed, but sadly, I am not. If I were, I'd be keeping them. Since they're Blizzards, they also haul ass on groomers and aren't really phased by anything other than short/quick/tight turns. $175 shipped.

3 - Rossignol Bandit XXX, 185, 123-90-110. These are the "classic" white ones from the early '90s. Still have some life in them, but they do have a core-shot or two that has been patched. I wouldn't call them rock skis yet, but they're definitely not mint. Mounted twice, once with Dukes (yes, they get around), once with Look Pivots (310 BSL). Would be a good early/late season board, a backup pair, or just for someone that needs a usable pair of skis without spending a fortune. $50 shipped?

Let me know if any of these prices seem whack.

So you bought a fancy new Neoshell/eVent jacket and your old Marmot Exum is collecting dust? Sell it to me! I have a medium that I love. The cut is just right for me and I dig the hood design. I want a large for when I need to throw a shell over a whole bunch of clothes. Bonus points if it's yellow!

I would also do a trade my large, red Patagonia Stretch Element jacket for your Exum. It has a little grease stain on the wrist, but it is stretchy and thats all the rage these days. Or you could return it for Patagonia credit if you need to buy some of that new hybrid clothing that goes in and out of style every couple years.

Hey all,

I have Jan-Feb off this season and am a grad student so can buy a season pass at Telluride for $350. I have never been there in ski season, but it sounds like it has good terrain. I am looking for somewhere to improve (I am now an advanced intermediate) especially when it comes to steeps and powder skiing (not a big bumps fan). I wont be working as I only have two months, but I plan to try to find somewhere to stay for this time and ski as much as possible. My question is...is Telluride a good place for someone to ski bum for a few months with this in mind? The town looks cute but a but pretentious, this worries me a bit. I know they had a bad snow season last year, also a bit worrying. I assume once Im there I can find a room and some 20 somethings there working or bumming like me, and the snow will hopefully be better than last year, but would like to hear if anyone here has any thoughts? I was originally looking at Jackson or living in Bend, OR and doing Mt. Bachelor, but this 350 season pass seems hard to turn down.
Thanks!!
